H Family | Hopkinsville, KY, Child/Family Photographer

Miss E’s mom contacted me a few weeks ago asking about a session for her adorable little girl. As anyone can see, I haven’t done many sessions in the last year, but I greatly appreciate that people continue to contact me for sessions. I accept sessions as I am able to, and I’m SO glad I got this one scheduled! Miss E is an absolute joy to be around. She is SUCH a happy baby, and her parents are a beautiful couple!

So thank you, H Family, for allowing me into your home and letting me capture your precious family!

I’ve worked with this family several times in the last couple of years, so I’ve photographed their children at many different ages and stages…this was the easiest and most smiley session thus far!

Here are a few of my personal favorites!

This lady was my teacher in my Clinical Medical Assisting class earlier this year. She’s an awesome teacher, and she happens to be hilarious as well. So I was really happy and excited when she contacted me for a last minute family session, and I was very glad I was able to fit them into my schedule right away!

These guys were really fun to work with! They had each other (and me) cracking up through the whole session! We had to reschedule several times for one reason or another, but I’m really glad we finally got a day that worked for both of us!

Check out a few of my favorite shots from last Friday’s session!

I Heart Faces | Hey, Girl!

This month’s I Heart Faces photo contest theme is “Hey, Girl”…luckily, I have one SUPER cute girl with me pretty much 24/7!  And coincidentally, she and I went out this week to get some spring pictures done! Here’s one of my faves:

Baby H | Murfreesboro Newborn Photographer

Just over a week ago, I went to Murfreesboro to visit my cousins, and to photograph their new baby! Baby H is absolutely adorable! He was laid back and content the whole time I was there! I’m pleased to say that not only did I pack lighter for this session than any other newborn session, but this was one of my shortest newborn sessions to date.

Enjoy these photos from Baby H’s session! The gallery will be finished in about a week!

Last week, I had the privilege to be with these new parents as they welcomed their first child! These guys are an awesome team!

I hope you guys enjoy this sneak peek from your sessions! Thank you for allowing me to be a part of Baby Z’s debut!

So far, this year has thrown some curve balls my way. I’ve been scheduling fewer sessions, and I’ll (hopefully) be starting a 14 week course at APSU soon…but this all has given me even more time to spend with my daughter and photograph her!

Boots On the Ground!

Here are some images from the most recent Welcome Home Ceremony I photographed! This is Daina, her soldier, and one of their 3 adorable children! Their boys were having a sleepover with some friends, and their Daddy got to surprise them later in the morning.

Daina, I hope you’re enjoy these photos! There will be many more to come!

Hello, 2012!!!

Hello! I hope everyone had a great Holiday season and a Happy New Year! In years past, I have attempted a 365 Project, and only ever made it to about 40 days before life happened and I got behind…and then gave up. :(   So, this year, I’m attempting something slightly less ambitious. I’m trying to do a Project 52…one photo per week for all of 2012.

I’m going to be following along with Paint the Moon‘s “Let’s Do 52″. I would love to see some of you do similar projects as well!

P.S. I am also attempting a 30-day photo challenge for January, so you will probably see more than one photo per week this first month!
