So far, this year has thrown some curve balls my way. I’ve been scheduling fewer sessions, and I’ll (hopefully) be starting a 14 week course at APSU soon…but this all has given me even more time to spend with my daughter and photograph her!

Hello! I hope everyone had a great Holiday season and a Happy New Year! In years past, I have attempted a 365 Project, and only ever made it to about 40 days before life happened and I got behind…and then gave up.
So, this year, I’m attempting something slightly less ambitious. I’m trying to do a Project 52…one photo per week for all of 2012.
I’m going to be following along with Paint the Moon‘s “Let’s Do 52″. I would love to see some of you do similar projects as well!
P.S. I am also attempting a 30-day photo challenge for January, so you will probably see more than one photo per week this first month!
I have been incredibly blessed to have worked with so many wonderful clients! So, to thank everyone, I have put together a small giveaway. There are some great prizes, too! They’re all things that, even if you personally don’t need, you almost definitely know someone who does! Some of these things are custom items, and some would make awesome Christmas gifts or stocking stuffers!
***Please note that while I do personally know some of the vendors and can attest to the quality and/or cuteness of some of the prizes, I have not tested/tried every single one. If you have any questions about any of the prizes or the giveaway, please feel free to email me or any of the vendors!***
***you must “like” every vendor and post on their wall in the package you are entering for. these are prize packages; not individual item giveaways.***

I would like to thank ALL of the vendors who have donated items to this giveaway! You guys are awesome!
And to all of my clients and Facebook fans: Thank you for supporting me! Thank you for trusting me to help immortalize your memories!
I have a group of photographers who I’ve known online for a couple of years. During that time, some of them have met up with each other, and I’ve always wished I could be there too. They’re always meeting up in St. Louis or somewhere else that’s just too far for me to drive for one or 2 days (especially with Abi).
We finally planned a meetup in Birmingham! That’s only a few hours from me, and we were going to be on our way home from Florida that weekend. It worked out perfectly! (Especially since my mom would be with us, and she could help wrangle Abi.)
Well…the group gradually dwindled down because of family obligations, and we were left with 3 photogs who could still make it…including myself. It didn’t matter. We had fun anyway, and Abi made a new friend!
I’m happy to call Anabel (of Anabel Sanchez Photography) and Marie (of Marie Ostennsen Photography) friends…like official, I-have-met-them-in-person friends. I won’t be posting any of their images from that weekend, but they have several posted on each of their Facebook pages. P.S. That adorable boy in the pictures is Anabel’s son (Abi’s new friend).

It was HOT that weekend, and by the end of it I think everyone was just about done, but we all had a good time!
If you’ve “liked” my facebook page, you’ve seen more than a few MarshFellows there…but next weekend (June 24th), the Fellows and their creator, Autumn, will be at the Moonlight Festival Metaphysical Fair in Nashville! Autumn will be there as a vendor, so stop by to see her and pick up a MarshFellow or twelve! Most of the MarshFellows are in the $10-$15 price range, and they’re too cute! (note: these are polymer clay figurines (i.e. breakable!), and are not appropriate for children to play with.)
These MarshFellows, as well as others, will be available June 24th!
I’m a home body. I <3 normal days where there’s nothing that NEEDS to be done…I love to just sit at home, chill with Abi, and watch movies. We don’t get very many days like that. I’m busy, Abi’s nuts, and the hubs is in the Army, so his schedule is crazy most of the time. The last couple of weeks, we’ve been lucky enough to have some spare time…not a whole day, but little chunks of time to just be.
I always feel honored that my clients allow me to take a peek into their lives, family dynamics, and sometimes their homes. Here is a peek into our life.

Like the Mommy in my last sneak peek, I met Lyndsy at a play group. She was pregnant with Miss Amelia at that point. I FINALLY got to photograph this adorable little family this past weekend. Amelia is such a happy baby, it’s ridiculous! She almost never cries, and she put up really well with the new surroundings during their session!
(^Seriously, how cute is this Mother/Daughter duo?!)
(^this was a test shot. seriously, it’s probably my fave from the entire session!)
On April 2nd, I’ll be having spring mini sessions! I haven’t nailed down a location yet, but push come to shove, I will use my parents’ back yard (in Cunningham, about 25 minutes from the exit 1 area). They have what I’ve been looking for as far as scenery, but I’d like to find something like it more centrally located. A definite location will be posted ASAP.
There is no Creative Fee for these mini sessions! Please contact me at lilylovephotography@gmail.com with any questions or to reserve a spot!
These girls are TOO cute! And their mom and dad are great. They’re really laid back, and up for pretty much anything! Liberty and Layla (cute names, huh?) did great with wardrobe changes, indoor and outdoor shots, etc. They’re not mobile YET, but I have a feeling that once they start moving they’re not stopping for a long time!
