GIVEAWAY!!!

***Update: If you know a military family whose soldier is deploying or coming home this spring and would like to enter them, you may e-mail me another family’s story.***

This giveaway is open to families of Fort Campbell, KY, soldiers who are either deploying this spring or returning home this spring (R&R or redeployment).

The PRIZE: FREE photography of your soldier’s ceremony! This includes a proof disc for online use!

To enter: Send me an email (lilylovephotography@gmail.com) with a (true) story about you and your soldier! Tell me how you met…or about your first date…or how he proposed…or a challenge the two of you have overcome together. Whatever you want as long as it’s a TRUE story about you and your soldier! Photos are optional, but are always welcome!

How it works: I will narrow the stories down to 5-10 stories…I’m going to be honest, I will probably enlist some unbiased third parties (i.e. photographer friends of mine from across the country) to help me narrow it down to the top 5-10 stories. Each story will be posted separately here on my website. You can SHARE the post with YOUR story on your Facebook page, Twitter, etc. and get your friends/family to vote. People can vote by commenting on their favorite story.

Stories must be submitted by February 21st!!! That means you have one week!

Feel free to ask any questions by emailing me! (lilylovephotography@gmail.com)

Santa is coming to town!

the H family! {Clarksville, TN family photographer}

I met up with this cute family on Saturday. It was really chilly, but they toughed it out with me! Even Mr. J. He did great! He’s so adorable, and content as long as there’s no cold wind around! And their dog, Oliver, is absolutely gorgeous! I like dogs, but I’m not a “dog person”. Oliver was an absolute joy!

Round 2 of Miss A’s 3 year old photos {Clarksville, TN child photographer}

I had someone cancel a session yesterday, so my mom helped me get some more of my daughter’s 3 year old photos done. It’s SO much easier when I have an extra set of hands when I’m working with my own daughter! It’s very difficult to play the role of photographer AND Mommy at the same time!

I don’t know what was up with her silly smiles, but she was looking into the camera, so I went with it!

Miss A’s 3 year old pictures: Pt. 1 {Clarksville, TN Children’s Photographer}

Here are a couple of photos from my Miss A’s 3 year old session…This is only part one. My daughter is one of the most difficult kids to work with (for me anyway) when I’m trying to get new pictures of her. She doesn’t even respond to bribery…believe me! I’ve tried! So…we’re doing these one outfit at a time. I only have one other outfit planned, and I’m hoping to get part 2 photographed this weekend…so check back soon!

(the only black and white I’ve done so far^…and the color version for good measure.)

2 Families…Adorable kids! Who could ask for more?! {Clarksville, TN Child/Family Photographer}

I had the honor of photographing the funeral services for an outstanding woman this past Friday. I’ve been wanting to post a blog about it, but I haven’t been able to find the words I’m looking for yet…But there was such an outpouring of love! So stay tuned for a blog about that soon.

While I was there, I took a few impromptu photos of two families. Both of these families have the most adorable children! I’m a little biased when it comes to the first family. I had the two older children in the daycare where I used to work, and it was no secret that they were two of my favorite kids!

Here is the first family:

(Don’t they look SO happy?!)
And here are the kiddos from the second family! They were really quiet around me, but I think that’s because I was new. :) They had no problem posing for a few pictures, which was awesome because they are absolutely adorable!!!

2 Baby L’s!!! {Clarksville, TN Newborn Photographer}

I got to work with two newborns this past Monday! They’re both SO adorable!

First, let’s see Baby Boy L:

And some with his Mom and Dad:
^This one is my absolute favorite so far!
Here’s a little peek at part of a mini accordion album I made for Mr. L:
And now, Baby Girl L:
“No more pictures!!!”
And her big brother:
I hope you guys enjoy the sneak peek! I’ll let you know when I have the gallery up!

Miss L and my little girl (A) {Clarksville, TN Child Photographer}

I’ve known Miss L since she was in her mommy’s tummy! Her mom is my BFF, so I’m always happy to test new equipment, props, etc. on her! And she’s always happy to sit for pictures! :)

B. Kids! {Ft. Campbell Child Photographer}

I got together with my friend a few days ago to take some photos of her kids just for practice. Her three kids are SUPER cute and funny!

Happy 4th of July!
