Hello! I hope everyone had a great Holiday season and a Happy New Year! In years past, I have attempted a 365 Project, and only ever made it to about 40 days before life happened and I got behind…and then gave up. So, this year, I’m attempting something slightly less ambitious. I’m trying to do a Project 52…one photo per week for all of 2012.

I’m going to be following along with Paint the Moon‘s “Let’s Do 52″. I would love to see some of you do similar projects as well!

P.S. I am also attempting a 30-day photo challenge for January, so you will probably see more than one photo per week this first month!

Giveaway Time!!!

I have been incredibly blessed to have worked with so many wonderful clients! So, to thank everyone, I have put together a small giveaway. There are some great prizes, too! They’re all things that, even if you personally don’t need, you almost definitely know someone who does! Some of these things are custom items, and some would make awesome Christmas gifts or stocking stuffers!

***Please note that while I do personally know some of the vendors and can attest to the quality and/or cuteness of some of the prizes, I have not tested/tried every single one. If you have any questions about any of the prizes or the giveaway, please feel free to email me or any of the vendors!***

Here are the rules/terms/conditions:

There are TWO prize packages (not individual prizes): one for a local winner (Clarksville, TN, and surrounding areas) and one for a non-local winner.
I have included each vendor’s Facebook link in the prize listings. You must go “like” each vendor’s page and post on their wall to enter (Just post something like “Thanks for participating in Lily Love Photography’s giveaway!”). Once you have “liked” all the pages for the vendors and posted on their walls, come back here and leave a comment letting me know which prize package you’ve entered for!
You only have to “like” the pages for all of the vendors in the prize package you are entering to win, but of course you’re free to “like” the other vendors as well! Everybody loves new fans on their Facebook pages!
Entries will be accepted until midnight, Nov. 18th (i.e. 11:59pm on the 17th is the last chance to enter). I will do a random drawing on the 18th to find the winner of each prize package. ***If you win the non-local package, I will need your mailing address so that the vendors can mail you the prizes!***
I will have to go through and approve the comments (i.e. entries) each day. Therefore, your comment will not show up right away.
Before I announce the winners, I will have to check to be sure that they did, in fact, “like” each vendor’s page and post on their walls. Therefore, the winners will be announced on the 20th of November.

I’m so glad that I was able to set aside an afternoon for mini sessions this fall! And before all of the leaves disappear! I have to say, with these mini sessions, I got the best of three worlds. I got to work with a new family, a returning client, and I got to photograph someone I haven’t seen since high school. So, I hope you guys enjoy this sneak peek! I got to meet Cherie and Mike when I did Cherie’s maternity photos. Cherie was already beyond ready for Ember to be here, but she had to wait a little bit longer!
Ember finally made her way into the world a couple of weeks before this session. She’s adorable! Very content, alert, tons of hair, just perfect!
We did a quick mini session to get a few shots of Miss Ember with her family. As you can see, she’s the center of her parents’ world…

I’ve been very busy the last few weeks, so I apologize to everyone for my running a few days behind with things! This is definitely my busy season in all respects!

I worked with parts of this family last year…First with the two older siblings, and then with the newest addition! They have all changed quite a bit in a year! Mr. B seemed very shy last year, but you wouldn’t know it now! He’s as silly and as outgoing as Miss L now! Of course, Baby A is all grown up now! Standing on her own and crawling everywhere!

Baby Juliana’s mom and I have talked on Facebook and via email off and on for months about this session. And when they had to deliver Juliana early, I was really glad I was able to find a day to do her newborn photos! Juliana’s big brother wasn’t happy about me taking over their bedroom…and he wasn’t happy that he couldn’t lay on the giant beanbag that Juliana was getting to snuggle up on…but we got some adorable shots anyway! Juliana and her brother are both adorable and as sweet as can be.

I met Maria at Abi’s gymnastics class earlier this year. Maria’s daughter is in the same class as Abi, and while they’re having fun in the gym, us moms sit in the lobby watching the kids and talking. I was super excited when Maria mentioned that she wanted to get some family photos done this fall, and I was more excited when she wanted to set up a session with me!
